    Abstract:

Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is closely related to cancer progression such as local invasion and distal metastases. The down-regulation of epithelial marker (E-cadherins) and up-regulation of mesenchymal markers (vimentin and N-cadherin) in the cell surface is the main feature of EMT process. This paper addresses the recent progress in investigating the mechanism underlying cancer EMT.
