    Abstract:

    Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) often presents as intestinal mucosal barrier dysfunction and gastrointestinal motility disorders. In this paper, the authors address the research progress in the mechanism of intestinal mucosal barrier dysfunction during different stages of SAP, and the content includes the characteristics of the three clinical phases of SAP and the underlying pathophysiological and molecular mechanisms.
