Abstract:Objective：To detect -174G→C polymorphism of IL-6 gene promoter in patients with colorectal cancer. Methods ：-174G→C polymorphism of IL-6 gene promoter was detected by PCR-RFLP in 49 patients with colorectal cancer. Results：-174G→C polymorphism of IL-6 gene promoter in all the 46 patients with colorectal cancer was -174G/G genotype. Conclusions：-174G→C polymorphism of IL-6 gene promoter was not found in 49 patients with colorectal cancer.
