    Abstract:

With the deepened understanding of the biological behaviors of pancreatic cancer, the Pancreatic Cancer Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Society has developed and issued the Guidelines for the Comprehensive Diagnosis and Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer in China (2018 edition) and the Guidelines for the Comprehensive Diagnosis and Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer in China (2020 edition) in 2018 and 2020, respectively. Here, the authors compare and summarize the differences between the two versions of guidelines in terms of the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer, complemented with analyzing the contents of new methods, new regimens and hot issues proposed in the new guidelines by viewing the latest progress in relevant fields. This paper is expected to provide reference and guidance for continuously standardizing the diagnosis and treatment behavior and improving the diagnosis and treatment level of medical institutions for pancreatic cancer in China.
