Abstract:With the rapid development of minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic techniques have been widely applied in clinical practice. Use of laparoscopic surgery for hepatobiliary diseases has become increasingly popular, and continues to develop and improve. Its surgical indications are gradually expanding, operative trauma is progressively decreasing, and esthetic outcome is consistently improving. This paper, based on the recent literature and our own experience, is intended to provide an overview of the current state and advances of the application of laparoscopic techniques in hepatobiliary surgery.
